愛∞無限 Endless Love Episode 12

That same night, Fucheng (Jinghao's father) created a ruckus looking for Zhishu (his ex-wife). Jinghao knew well in his heart that the only place that will bring back memories of Zhishu is his old place where Rui En now stays. After his father had fallen asleep, he went over and lingered outside his old place where he bumped into Rui En. He revealed that his dad is alive and had recently found him. Rui En is sincerely happy and agreed to move if needed, not for Jinghao but for his dad's sake.

The next day, Fucheng revealed that during his stay at the home, a man whom he called "good friend" often visited him and gave him chocolates. The man was described to be dressed in suit and drove a posh car, unfortunately the dad can't recall the real name. Jinghao becomes suspicious.

In the meantime, Song Wanji (Rui En's father) found out about Liang Fucheng who went missing. The security camera and document evidence pointed to Minshuo and Biyun who were involved. In a huff, he went back to hospital and met Biyun in the hallway. She was arrested to his office and given a lashing, while he summoned for Minshuo. Minshuo arrived and clarified that Biyun wasn't in the know and she was excused. Biyun goes back feeling lousy. Minshuo then went on to assure Song Wanji that he did it in the same aim for Rui En's good, and returned Jinghao's dad on condition that Jinghao and Xinjie get married.

Jinghao brought his dad back to his old place. His dad was delighted to see Rui En whom he often affectionately mistaken her for Zhishu. Unfortunately the newly renovated interior was foreign to Fucheng and he created a scene, breaking the display ornaments and ended up hurting himself. Rui En rushed out to buy bandages, while Biyun returned to find Jinghao and Fucheng at her place. Fucheng immediately recognizes that she was the one who got him out of the home! Jinghao questioned but Biyun who all along had a bad impression of Jinghao refused to reveal anything. Rui En came back and treated Fucheng's wound. She then saw both father and son out. At the gate, they had a somewhat heart to heart talk.

Rui En: I'll bring you to see Zhishu if you behave!
Fucheng: Ok, I will be good. I will be...
Jinghao: My dad still likes you very much.
Rui En: Unfortunately you don't... How do you settle your dad?
Jinghao: I've no idea. Probably the only way is for him to forget the past and adapt to the present.
Rui En: I hope he can forget.
Jinghao: A lot of times things should be forgotten, as we can't stay in the past.
(Their held each others' gaze for some time)
Rui En: You're right, we should move on.

Rui En then went to meet Minshuo for lunch, whom he invited her father along. After some persuasion by Wanji, Rui En agreed to move back home and apologized for her willfulness. (Rui En probably decided to move on and softened her attitude towards her father, after having the conversation with Jinghao.)

In the evening while Minshuo and Rui En were strolling past a bridal shop, Rui En stopped and reminisces memories of her and Jinghao's pre-wedding times... Minshuo on the other hand, took the chance to slip a subtle proposal. (thefangirl: What a horrid and casual proposal! Not even a ring?!) She was about to turn him down but they were caught by Xinjie who happened to be there for her fitting. Jinghao turned up too. Minshuo purposely mentioned that he and Rui En will be marrying in the near future too! This threw Jinghao out of sorts.

When Xinjie goes into the fitting room, Jinghao immediately rushed out to give chase on Rui En...
Jinghao: SONG RUI EN!
Minshuo: What do you want now?
Jinghao: Promise me, you must find happiness!
Rui En: (moved to tears) I will, find happiness with Minshuo. He will not leave me alone, make me cry or fall for another woman. He will love, dote and hold me in utmost importance. So don't worry, I will be happy.

Back at the bridal studio, Jinghao then hugs Xinjie as a replacement of Rui En, "I'm sorry, I really love you. So long as you're happy, it doesn't matter (the price I pay)." Xinjie thinking that it was her, felt blissful.

Back home the same night, Biyun probes about Jinghao and Fucheng and comes to conclude that Wanji is manipulating the situation. She then approaches Minshuo who manages to persuade her that he's doing it for Rui En and tells her to keep hush. (thefangirl: I think it's all Minshuo's selfish intent!!!)

The next day at office, Rui En related the application user plan to the team with a sparkle in her eye; and we can see very much of her thoughts on her relationship with Jinghao is weaved into it. Meantime the triad boss Kun-ge had a word with Jinghao asking him to let go of his past as it would be his stumbling block one day. Jinghao said he understood and "knows what to do". And at home, Fucheng started a ruckus again, looking for Zhishu. Xinjie had no choice but to bring him to look for Jinghao at his office. They met Rui En at the doorstep, whom again Fucheng was delighted to see. Rui En then agrees to spend some time with them both at a park. There, Fucheng sings praises of her which Xinjie was envious. Xinjie also revealed that Jinghao doesn't stop thinking of his first love by staring forlornly at a painting - the painting happened to be the one which Rui En drew back then.

Xinjie invited Rui En back to Jinghao's apartment to see the painting which drew many questions to Rui En's mind. She was puzzled by his actions and wants to find out the truth. Just then, trouble brewed. Xinjie's mother located Jinghao's place and came barging in to kidnap her. Rui En goes to Xinjie's rescue and got involved in a car accident. (thefangirl: It doesn't make sense here! Rui En got into the accident but Xinjie got scot free? Pretty ridiculous...)

Jinghao returned home to find a frightened Fucheng seated still at the sofa. He probed and found out about Xinjie's mother who came and was shocked that Rui En came by his apartment too! He quickly called Xinjie to check if she was alright, but relieve soon turned into panick and fear when Xinjie told him Rui En got into a car accident while trying to save her and is in hospital! He rushes down only to be forced to hide his concern and worry because Xinjie was there. The scene then cuts back to Biyun and her daughter Tong Tong. Biyun was contemplating whether or not to expose the truth to Rui En...
