嚴爵 - 好的事情

For avid fans of Taiwanese Idol Drama and Rainie Yang, this should be no stranger to you. I found many asking about the song on the internet and thought I'd introduce it here. The end theme of Rainie's latest drama Love You, Good Things 好的事情 by Yen-J 嚴爵.

The singer is pretty much Jay Chou sounding (read: Jay Chou is a retired favourite of mine), particularly in the way he interprets each note in his singing style. He's young and apparently did the music arrangements for several popular Taiwanese Dramas such as My Queen 败犬女王 and Autumn's Concerto 下一站，幸福. Talent in the making perhaps!

I can accept this pairing, even though I would still very much prefer Show-Rainie. Rainie has totally become a lady after shedding off her cutesy image, and there was a tint of shyness amidst the helplessness during the interview which makes her adorable.

Reporter: I heard you guys go on movie dates and he will fetch you when he's free.
Rainie: Yup, it's a mutual thing. I will fetch him if I am driving.
Reporter: If that's the case, won't there be feelings of attraction?
Rainie: That's... (faint awkward smile)
Reporter: Or are there already feelings?
Rainie: No lah! Really! (looks to her manager for help)

Rainie goes on to talk about how Joseph was initially cold towards her on set which reminded her of their past collaboration; and relieved that he opened up to her after 3-4 days of attempt. They used to be total unfamiliar strangers who have deleted each other's number off their phones after their past drama, and have become good friends on the current set.

Reporter: Will there be a possibility of mutual attraction and the both of you not ruling it out?
Rainie: Hahahaha... (Silly laughter)
Reporter: Why are you so embarassed?
Rainie: Not that! (looks to her manager for help again)
Manager: Joseph has a girlfriend. (Rainie nods her head)
Rainie: I wouldn't conclude the possibility.
Reporter: If he has a girlfriend, then you would become the 3rd party.
Rainie: I wouldn't come into a relationship as a 3rd party.
Reporter: Ahh... So you would request for him to break up first.
Rainie: No lah!

What a hilarious and pressing reporter! Rainie always says the same about how she and her co-stars click very well though the tone does vary a bit from person to person. This would have been believable if Joseph didn't have a girlfriend. Sure hope this is just a promotional gimmick for their drama!

醉後決定愛上你 Love You - Show's Congrats Message 20110421

I've just finished watching episode 1 and think it'll be a good drama! I think Joseph Chang looks great too, but I'm back-tracking a little to my world of Show and Rainie. With much publicity going on, rumors are cooking - this time other than Show, the paparazzi are cooking it with Alien Huang too. Anyhow here's Show's message at a school promotional event of Love You, 4月21日 《醉後決定愛上你》 校園宣傳:

今天很開心我的好夥伴楊丞琳又有另外一個新作叫作是醉後決定愛上你，跟張姓少年就是張孝全一起合作的。希望大家能夠多多去支持他們。這部戲很好看又很溫馨又好笑，一起來支持一下，謝謝大家 Only Only U-U-U~

Translated: I'm very happy today that my partner Yang Cheng Lin has a new drama called Love You, co-starring a youth by the surname Zhang - yes it is Joseph! I hope everybody would support this drama. It's nice, heart warming and funny, so let's support it together. Thanks, Only Only U-U-U~

When asked if she's surprised to see Show's blessings:
Yup I am surprised! But I really thank him for his support because he's watching. Actually we started filming last year end, so during our company's year end event, he asked about the progress (of my filming) and said that he is very supportive and would watch our show. And I really thank him for that.

Rainie was talking about someone being lively and very funny behind the camera, but the front part was cut off. Is it Show?

When asked if Show will be jealous:
He won't show even if he is, I suppose! But I feel that I'm not that important so he won't be jealous. Help! Dying to know the full content of this interview~

醉後決定愛上你 Love You

Much as I like Rainie and Show together, I think I'm gonna catch Rainie's new drama with Joseph Chang, Love You 醉後決定愛上你 - simply because it seems like a good drama with a good cast, but that doesn't mean that I'm abandoning my SR make believe. In the show, we have Kingone Wang acting as Rainie's (ex-)boyfriend for the first time; and Alien Huang (Xiaogui) casted as Rainie's childhood friend in the drama, which somehow "coincides" with their real life scenario, who later falls in love with her. As it is now, there are already quite a few talking points on top of the breakthrough bed scene between Joseph and Rainie. This show will be an interesting watch!

Love You starts 4/17 (Sun) on TTV and 4/23 (Sat) on Set TV. Here's the preview to excite you a little:
